WatchImplant-Supported Bridge
Replacing several teeth at once with an implant-supported bridge
For a row of missing teeth, nothing replaces them with the durability and natural feel of an implant-supported bridge. A traditional bridge has to be supported by shaving down the healthy teeth flanking the gap; an implant-supported bridge avoids that entirely, anchoring instead to titanium posts set directly in your jawbone and leaving your other teeth untouched.
The video walks through each step. Once the area is comfortably numbed, the implants are placed into small openings made in the jawbone. Over the following months the bone fuses naturally to each post, a process known as osseointegration. After the implants integrate, an extension goes on each one and impressions are taken so the lab can build a custom bridge that's then cemented or screwed permanently into place.
What you gain is substantial. Because tooth loss always triggers jawbone loss, the implants put a stop to it; the bridge keeps your remaining teeth from drifting into the gap; and the healthy teeth nearby never have to be cut down. Paired with good home care and routine checkups, an implant-supported bridge can last a lifetime.
