Infection Control

Our priority as your dental care provider has always been to preserve and protect your health and safety. As usual, we continue to follow all guidelines set forth by OSHA and the ADA in order to provide a clean, safe, environment in which to protect your health, both oral and otherwise. We are in this together.

Among our precautionary measures include…

Hand Hygiene
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For routine dental exams and nonsurgical procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings.

Personal Protective Equipment
We possess and use all necessary protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and protective clothing. Worn by our team and changed regularly, Personal Protective Equipment is designed to protect everyone in our practice from exposure to infectious agents.

Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices
Instruments and equipment used in your care are all regularly sterilized and disinfected to ensure that your health is maintained. Items such as surgical instruments and mouth mirrors are all subject to rigorous cleanings.

Dental Unit Waterline Safety
We use a microbiological dental unit water purifier to remove bacterial growth and biofilms including bacteria and viruses in our dental delivery unit.  Our self-contained dental units have always been and will continue to be maintained and tested to assure that the water used in our procedures out perform the EPA standards for safe drinking water.

Regular Sanitation:
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized on a regular basis by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill viruses.

Air Purification
Each room has been equipped with individual air purification units to filter out harmful airborne particles and cleanse the air.  In addition, we have also installed two rooftop Respicaire UV Air Purifiers that utilize advanced plasma technology to "scrub & clean" indoor air and surfaces, helping to eliminate viruses, bacteria, and mold.

Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our team. Together, we can overcome these circumstances and continue your path to greater health. We look forward to taking care of you at your next appointment and wish you and your family the very best.
